The music from the Diet Coke ‘Hunk' ad
Diet Coke has brought back the hunky gardener. Not since Desperate Housewives has he been so inspired. The latest ad from the mammoth super-brand tells the story of a woman in the park with her friends, urged to roll a can of Diet Coke towards the lawn-mowing hunk. We watch as the women dissolve in hilarity as he opens the shaken can only to be drenched in the drink. What follows is even better. Hunky gardener whisks his shirt off in his most deft, signature move. What else can he do, we think, as we watch the women's faces drop spectacularly in awe. And what better track to accompany Diet Coke‘s tale than the classic I Just Want To Make Love To You by Etta James. The ad was released this week to coincide with the brand’s 30th anniversary and was written by Clive Pickering, art directed by Neil Dawson and stars model Andrew Cooper. Enjoy.
