Wedge Welly – Welly Good Festival Wellies

With the festival season well and truly upon us it seems only fitting to be discussing Wellies, a true festival staple. Anyone who has ever given the weather the benefit of the doubt during festival season will know only too well that Wellies are of the utmost importance when it comes to surviving four days and nights in the middle of a muddy field.

The humble Wellington boot has exploded in popularity, style and design over the past few years. Gone are the days of green and black being the only options available; now buyers are spoiled for choice, with every colour and pattern imaginable on the market and now, thanks to WedgeWelly, heel height is a new feature to consider.

You may remember Wedge Welly from Dragons’ Den, where the creators of the brand won the support of Theo Paphitis back in 2010. Two years later and the company has gone from strength to strength, creating a truly unique and innovative product that is creating a huge buzz in the world of women’s footwear.

If you’re still looking for the perfect Wellies to protect your toes from the rivers of mud at this year’s festivals then what are you waiting for? Hop on over to the WedgeWelly website, where you’re sure to find something to suit your tastes.

WedgeWelly Unique Range

The Unique range features a whole host of designs, including the Man Eater Platinum (complete with a nifty zip and mock crock print), the Candy Girl (for those of you who can’t get enough of the colour pink) and the best-selling Legend, for anybody who wants to strut their stuff in a more conventional black Wellington design.

WedgeWelly Flex Range

Next up is the Flex range, which features an extendable gusset to ensure your WedgeWellys fit you like a glove. Along with the Man Eaters, Candy girls and Legends I mentioned before, there are a few new additions in the Flex range, including the Dutchess (a gorgeous navy blue) and, my favourite, the Warrior Princess (a subtle leopard print design).

WedgeWelly Curve Range

Finally, we have the Curve range, catering to wider calf widths. Anybody with more athletic calves knows how difficult it can be to find boots that are truly comfortable and have a pretty design. Well, WedgeWelly’s Curve range is the answer to your prayers, fitting a calf circumference of up to 45cm. The Man Eater and Legend are back, joined by the Miss Starry Eyed (a black boot adorned with white stars) and the Miss Outgoing (a hot pink sprinkled with dainty black hearts), along with numerous other designs and styles.
